Aksaray University Journal of Sport and Health Researches

Aksaray University Journal of Sport and Health Researches (ASUJSHR), is an international scientific and academic open access e-journal mainly focusing on Sports and Health sciences.

ASUJSHR publishes original research articles, review articles, clinical reports, case studies, commentaries, editorials and letters to Editor that involve an integrative and comprehensive coverage of the latest developments in Sports and Health sciences. ASUJSHR publishes papers in Turkish and English languages.

Aksaray University Journal of Sport and Health Researches (ASUJSHR), is an international bi-annual open access e-journal first published in 2020.

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer-review process. ASUJSHR publishes papers in Turkish and English languages.

Processing and publishing are free of charge with the journal. ORCID iD should be provided by authors.

Original research and review articles in the following areas are highly welcome; Sports and Health Sciences, Training and Movement Sciences, Physical Education and Sports, Exercise Physiology, Sports and Health Technologies, Nutrition and Dietetics, Sports Management, Sport Psychology, Sports Tourism and Recreation, Sports for Disabled Individuals and related topics with Sports and Health Sciences.

Manuscript Style and Format

APA Style (the style set by the American Psychological Association, sixth edition) is used for text references and notes. To be considered for publication, manuscripts should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt., 1.5 spacing throughout with margins of 2.5cm. and should not exceed 20 pages.

Submission Requirements

1. Aksaray University Journal of Sport and Health Researches (ASUJSHR) publishes only original works that have not been previously published and that are not under consideration by any other publication. Manuscripts will be sent to at least two referees and they will be sent back to the authors for any corrections when necessary.

2. Each submission must contain the following components: Title page, abstract (Turkish and English), keywords, main text, references, appendices, tables, figure titles, figures, notes and correspondence addresses. Tables, figures, pictures and graphics should not exceed margins. For this reason, they can be written with a smaller pt. (9-11pt.) and with single spacing.

3. Authors are responsible for opinions expressed in the article. Articles published in the ASUJSHR should only quote by showing references. Manuscripts submitted to the ASUJSHR will not be returned whether they are published or not.

4. No fee will be given to the authors publishing in the Aksaray University Journal of Sport and Health Researches (ASUJSHR). All rights are reserved after manuscripts are published.

5. Due to our publishing policies, from time to time some of the data and analysis programmes may be requested from the authors.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

ASUJSHR is an open-access e-journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

ASUJSHR Peer Review Process
Once you submit the paper to ASUJSHR, the editor-in-chief (or Co-editor) screens the manuscript and decides whether or not to send it for section editors for pre-view. The section editor also screens the MS and decides whether or not to send it for full peer review. Only after clearing the initial screening is the manuscript sent to at least two peer reviewers. Finally, journal editors or the journal’s editorial board consider the peer reviewers’ reports and make the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication.
