Open Access Policy

The Journal of Academic Language and Literature adopts an open access policy, as it adopts the principle that making scientific research available to humanity free of charge will increase the global sharing of knowledge. In this context, the Journal of Academic Language and Literature has signed the Budapest Open Access Declaration.

Readers can access all articles published in the journal through Dergipark; they can read, download, copy, search and link to the full text of journal articles without permission from the publisher or author, except for commercial purposes. This is in line with the BOAI open access definition. Click here for the open access guidelines. 

Each work published in the Journal of Academic Language and Literature is licensed under the Creative Commons International License (CC-BY-NC 4.0). The Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license permits sharing, copying, reproducing, and adapting the work in any size and format except for commercial use, including remixing, transforming, and building upon the work, provided that proper attribution is given to the original work.

By submitting their work to the journal under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, authors agree to the following terms.

1. The copyright of the published article belongs to the author.
2. Authors authorize this journal to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
3. Authors grant any third party the right to use the article freely, as long as the original authors and citation details are identified.
4. Nothing in this license impairs or restricts an author's right to protect the integrity and ownership of their work.
5. All commercial rights related to the article belong to the authors.
As long as you fulfill the terms of the license, the licensee cannot revoke these freedoms (specified rights).

Publisher Archive Policy
All studies published in our journal, together with all supplements, are available for free and continuous access in our journal archive.
In line with our efforts to support the dissemination of research results, the publisher is pleased to announce the archive policy:

1. The publisher grants authors permission to use the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
2. Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based repositories. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be cited and a link to the journal home page or DOI of the articles must be set.
3. Authors can download the manuscript as a PDF document. Authors can send copies of the article to colleagues without any embargo.
4. The publisher allows all versions of the articles (submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be stored in an institutional or other repository of the author's choice without embargo.
