Evli Çiftlerde Cinsel Doyum ve Affediciliğin Evlilik Uyumu Üzerindeki Yordayıcı Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Evlilik uyumu, evli çiftlerin yaşamının birçok alanını etkileyen önemli bir olgudur. Bu araştırma kapsamında evlilik uyumunun yordayıcıları olarak, cinsel doyum ve affedicilik belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı evli çiftlerde cinsel doyum ve affediciliğin evlilik uyumuna etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini en az 1 yıllık evli olan, yaşları 25-65 arasında değişen, 194 kadın, 60 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 254 evli birey oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan evli çiftlere sosyodemografik bilgi formu, Affedicilik Ölçeği, Arizona Cinsel Yaşantılar Ölçeği ve Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği web tabanlı uygulama programı aracılığıyla online olarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemleri ile yürütülmüştür. Normallik testi sonucunda çarpıklık ve basıklık değerlerinin ±2 arasında olduğu belirlenirken, verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği kabul edilmiştir. Affedicilik, cinsel doyumsuzluk ile evlilik uyumu ilişkisi Pearson Korelasyon analiziyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Affedicilik ve cinsel doyumsuzluğun, evlilik uyumunu yordayıcı etkisinin incelenmesinde ise çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda cinsel doyumsuzluk ile affedicilik ve evlilik uyumu arasında negatif yönde korelasyon tespit edilmiştir. Affedicilik ile evlilik uyumu arasında ise pozitif yönde korelasyon bulunmuştur. Regresyon analizi sonucunda cinsel doyumsuzluğun, evlilik uyumunu negatif yönde yordadığı belirlenmiştir. Affediciliğin ise evlilik uyumunu pozitif yönde yordadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Investigation of the Predictive Effect of Sexual Satisfaction and Forgiveness on Marital Adjustment in Married Couples

Abstract

In this research, sexual satisfaction and forgiveness were identified as predictors of marital adjustment. The aim of this research was to investigate the impact of sexual satisfaction and forgiveness on marital adjustment in married couples. The study sample consisted of a total of 254 married individuals, including 194 women and 60 men, aged between 25 and 65, who had been married for at least 1 year. The socio-demographic information form, Forgiveness Scale, Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale, and Marital Adjustment Scale were administered online through a web-based application program to the married couples who volunteered to participate in the research. The study was conducted using quantitative research methods. The skewness and kurtosis values were within ±2 according to the normality test, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The relationship between forgiveness, sexual dissatisfaction, and marital adjustment was examined using Pearson correlation analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the predictive effects of forgiveness and sexual dissatisfaction on marital adjustment. As a result of the research, a positive correlation was found between forgiveness and marital adjustment. Negative correlations were found between sexual dissatisfaction and forgiveness, and marital adjustment. Regression analysis revealed that sexual dissatisfaction negatively predicted marital adjustment, while forgiveness positively predicted marital adjustment.
