Abstract
This study aims to determine the mediating role of knowledge sharing in the effect of team cohesion on innovative work behavior. Team cohesion can encourage innovative thinking and risk-taking through harmony and cooperation among team members. Knowledge sharing is a critical factor that strengthens communication and cooperation among team members. The study investigated whether knowledge sharing significantly mediates the relationship between team cohesion and innovative work behaviors. The study was conducted on 141 Technopark employees. Technoparks are areas where businesses, research institutions, and entrepreneurs unite to develop innovative solutions and support technological advances resolutely. In this context, techno parks provide an environment that can strengthen the effect of team cohesion and knowledge sharing on innovative work behavior. Structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses. The study results showed that knowledge sharing has a full mediating role in the effect of task interdependence, a sub-dimension of team cohesion, on innovative work behavior. As a result of the study, various suggestions were presented for field practitioners and researchers.
