Abstract
Proactive personality, innovativeness, opportunity focus, risk-taking, and job satisfaction are the research factors in this study on tradespeople and artisans. The study was conducted with 555 enterprises operating in Kahramanmaraş. Firstly, reliability and normality findings were examined. Correlation analysis was performed to ascertain the strength and direction of the association between the research variables. An analysis of regression was used to test the hypotheses. It was noted that every theory has been verified. The research data analysis showed that a proactive personality positively affects innovativeness, opportunity focus, and risk-taking. Afterward, it was concluded that innovativeness, opportunity focus, and risk-taking positively affect job satisfaction. As a result, it is concluded that individuals with proactive personality traits have high levels of innovativeness, opportunity focus, and risk-taking, and the increase in these levels increases job satisfaction.
