After graduating from Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History in 2008, Mehmet ÖZALPER worked as a lecturer at the same university between 2009 and 2012. Mehmet Özalper, who worked as a lecturer at Muş Alparslan University between 2012-2017, received his doctorate in the Department of History of the Republic of Turkey in the joint program of Kayseri Erciyes-Bitlis Eren University in 2017 with his doctoral thesis titled “Turkey-Bulgaria Political Relations 1919-1950”. He received the title of Associate Professor in He is still working at Muş Alparslan University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History; He gives undergraduate and graduate courses on the History of the Republic of Turkey, Foreign Policy and Modern Balkan History. He also has studies on Foreign Policy of the Republic Period and the Balkans in particular, Recent Political History and International Relations.
