İlayda ENGİN UYSAL is an instructor at Özyeğin University. She received her bachelor's degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Boğaziçi University in 2020 and her master's degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Boğaziçi University in 2024. Her master's studies focused on Modern Turkish Literature after the Tanzimat period. She completed her master's thesis under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Uysal, examining novels in Turkish literature that depict syphilis.
Following her master's degree, she continued her doctoral studies in the field of Turkish Language Education at Yıldız Technical University, where she is currently a PhD student. Since 2020, she has been working in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Previously, she worked as a lecturer at Ankara University TÖMER and Istanbul Aydın University TÖMER. She is currently a lecturer at Özyeğin University's School of Foreign Languages, where she teaches Turkish to international students.
In addition to her academic activities, she serves as the Foreign Language Editor on the editorial board of Aydın TÖMER Dil Dergisi.
