Points to Consider:
Authors submitting articles to the special issue are expected to consider the following points regarding the process flow.
1. Only English language manuscripts will be accepted for the special issue.
2. Manuscripts will be prepared as specified on the writing rules page, and will be evaluated and published in accordance with the rules announced on the ethical principles and publication policy page in the "evaluation process" page.
3. Manuscripts submitted for the special issue should be uploaded to the system via DergiPark. When submitting an article to the special issue, the "I want to send my article to the special issue" section in the Dergipark system should be selected.
4. During the submission of the article, the author should indicate which of the sub-themes of the special issue the article is related to (maximum two articles) in the note to the editor section.
5. This call for papers does not imply that all submitted articles will be published. Submitted articles are subject to preliminary review. The referee process is initiated for articles that pass the preliminary review. Articles submitted for publication will be subjected to double blind peer review. Detailed information about the preliminary review and evaluation processes is explained in the publication principles of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Journal of Science.
6. “Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Journal of Science Publication Principles” and “English Article Template” on the DergiPark page should be carefully examined before the article application. If there are any deficiencies in the uploaded documents and information, or if the article does not comply (partially or completely) with the publication principles and publication policy, the relevant article will be rejected at the preliminary review stage.
7. The special issue will not include more than one article by one author. If an author has an article accepted for publication in the special issue or is in the evaluation process, the second article application of the same author will be returned to the author in the preliminary review.
8. The special issue is planned to be published in October 2026. Articles whose referee evaluation process has not been completed on the date of publication of the special issue will be returned to the author. The number of articles to be published in the 2026 special issue of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Journal of Science will be decided by the Journal Management and Scientific Committee.
