Pırlak Koyunlarında Kalpastatin (CAST) ve Miyostatin (MSTN) Genlerinde Polimorfizm

Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde yaygın olarak yetiştirilen yerli Pırlak koyunlarında, Kalpastatin (CAST) ve Miyostatin (MSTN) genlerinin polimorfik yapısı incelenmiştir. Antalya ilindeki farklı işletmelerden 181 baş koyunda PCR-RFLP yöntemi uygulanarak CAST geninde MspI, MSTN geninde ise HaeIII polimorfizmi araştırılmıştır. CAST geninde MM (0.220), MN (0.696) ve NN (0.082) genotipleri tespit edilmiştir. M ve N alel frekansları sırasıyla 0.569 ve 0.431 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Buna karşılık, MSTN gen bölgesi tamamen monomorfik yapı sergileyerek yalnızca mm genotipi bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, CAST geninde Hardy-Weinberg dengesinden sapma olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, CAST genindeki polimorfik yapının genetik marker olarak kullanılabileceğini ve moleküler düzeyde yapılacak seleksiyon çalışmalarına katkı sağlayabileceğini ortaya koymuştur.
