For every manuscript submitted to our journal, authors are first required to upload a plagiarism report along with their submission. In addition, all manuscripts submitted to DÜBİTED are re-evaluated by the editorial board using the intihal.net similarity detection system. In this process:
The total similarity rate, excluding the references section, must not exceed 20%.
The similarity from any single source must not exceed 3%.
Even if the overall similarity rate is below the threshold, manuscripts containing substantial block quotations in any section will be returned to the author without proceeding to peer review.
Similarity checks may be repeated by the editors at both the beginning and the end of the review process.
Authors' Responsibilities
Authors are obligated to declare that their submission is original and free from plagiarism.
All authors listed in the manuscript must comply with the Ethical Principles and Publication Policy of DÜBİTED.
It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that all sources used in the manuscript are cited accurately and completely.
Sanctions in Case of Plagiarism Detection
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism are immediately withdrawn from the publication process.
In cases of repeated ethical violations by the same author(s), further submissions to the journal may be restricted for a specified period.
In severe cases, the incident may be reported to the author’s affiliated institution and relevant academic authorities.
DÜBİTED strictly enforces this policy to ensure the reliability and academic integrity of all published scientific content.
