Yerel Yönetimler ve Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma: Bibliyometrik Bir Analiz

Abstract

Çevresel endişeler sonucu ortaya çıkan sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, günümüzde çok yönlü ele alınmakta ve son yıllarda “sürdürülebilir kalkınma” yaklaşımı çerçevesinde tartışılmaktadır. Çalışma, yerel yönetimlerin sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı bir kentsel politika aracı olarak kullanabilme potansiyeline odaklanarak, konuya ilişkin bilimsel yayınları bibliyometrik yöntem ile analiz etmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında Web of Science veri tabanında yer alan, 1991-2024 yılları arasında yayımlanan 839 akademik yayın incelenerek, konuyla ilgili gelişmeler ve araştırma eğilimleri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak sürdürülebilir kalkınma amaçlarının sunduğu kapsamlı çerçeveye rağmen, konuyu yerel yönetim özelinde ele alan çalışmaların, çevre ölçeğiyle sınırlı kaldığı görülmektedir.
