Abstract
AMAÇ: Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye' de osteoporoz konusunda yapılan lisansüstü tezleri tematik ve metodolojik açıdan incelenmesidir.
GEREÇ-YÖNTEM: İncelenen tezler YÖK tez internet sitesi arama bölümüne “osteoporoz“ yazılarak bulunmuştur. Tez başlığında “osteoporoz” kelimesi geçen tüm lisansüstü tezler listelenmiştir ve iki araştırmacı tarafından detaylı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Dokuman incelemesi yöntemiyle tezler araştırılmış olup bu sebeple etik kurul onayı alınmamıştır.
BULGULAR: Mart 2024 yılına kadar yapılmış olan toplam 420 osteoporozla ilgili tez değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. İncelenen tezlerin %74,8 tıpta uzmanlık, %14,3 yüksek lisans, %8,6 doktora, %2,4 diş hekimliğinde uzmanlık amaçlı yapılmıştır. Tezlerin %79,5’ inin tamamına erişilebildiği görülürken %20,5’inin sadece özetine ulaşılabilmektedir. Tezlerin %97,9’unun devlet üniversitelerinde, %2,1’inin vakıf üniversitelerinde yapıldığı görülmektedir. Tezlerin planlandığı bölüm olarak değerlendirme yapıldığında ilk sırayı %29’luk bir oranla fiziksel tıp ve rehabilitasyon bölümü alırken ikinci sırayı dahiliye üçüncü sırayı ise aile hekimliği bölümü bulunmaktadır.
SONUÇ: Tezlerin %29’unun fiziksel tıp ve rehabilitasyon bölümünce yapıldığı, çalışmaların çoğunun kesitsel olarak planlandığı görülmektedir. Tezlerin konuları arasında ise en az egzersizin araştırıldığı görülmüştür.
