1. Article submission
The corresponding author submits the article to the journal; this process is carried out through Dergipark. The author must upload the file prepared in accordance with the article template.
2. Editor's format evaluation
The editor checks whether the article complies with the requirements specified in the Author Guidelines. After the format evaluation, an editor is assigned to the article.
3. Editor's review
The editor reviews and evaluates the article, considering its scope, originality, compliance with ethical guidelines, and publishability. The editor may reject the article at this stage. If the editor deems it appropriate, a reviewer is assigned to the article. At this stage, our journal also conducts a plagiarism scan using the İntihal.net software. The maximum acceptable similarity rate in our journal is 20%.
4. Invitation to reviewers
The editor sends invitations to at least two people whom they consider to be suitable reviewers. If the reviewers accept the invitation, they are given 30 days to complete the evaluation.
5. Review of reviewer evaluations
The editor reviews the comments of the reviewers invited to evaluate the article. Reports are submitted to the author as notifications in line with the reviewers' suggestions. At this stage, the article may be rejected, accepted, or the author may be asked to revise it. The process is conducted under double-blind peer review.
6. Revision request
The author makes the necessary revisions to their work in line with the reviewers' suggestions and uploads the final version to the system within 30 days.
7. Evaluation of revisions
The editor evaluates whether the revisions made by the author are in line with the reviewers' suggestions. The editor then invites the reviewers who previously requested revisions to provide feedback in order to make a final decision.
8. Reviewers' Evaluation of Revisions
The invited reviewers examine the revisions made by the author and make their decision regarding the work. At this stage, reviewers may request new revisions.
9. Editor's Decision
The article, which has reached its final form as a result of the reviewers' opinions, is finalized by the editor at this stage. It may be rejected or accepted and taken into the publication process. For a work submitted to our journal to be published, it must receive approval from at least two reviewers.
10. Publication Process
Accepted articles are forwarded by the Editor to the Layout Editor for publication. After the necessary layout adjustments are made, the article is previewed and published with the full text and DOI number when the publication date arrives.
