Born in 1968 at Ceyhan province of Adana. In 1987, entered the Painting-Handiwork Teaching Department at Gazi University and graduated in 1991. Assigned to teacher duty the same year. Gazi University Received Masters degree in 2002 and doctorate degree in 2006. She became an associate professor in 2011 and a professor in 2018. Opened fourteen personal exhibitions ten of which are international. Attended to 300 national and international mixed exhibitions.
33 books, one of which is a double author and the other is an editor and chapter writer; More than 130 scientific articles and papers were published in academic journals and symposium books. His academic publications have received over 1770 citations to date.

He took part in dozens of national and international social responsibility projects. Mercin worked as an executive and as an expert in some of the Projects of UNESCO, UNICEF, EUROPEAN UNION, TUBITAK, BAP and Development Agencies. He was the manager of the founding project of DPÜ TV. He took part in the commissions that updated the Visual Arts Course, Technology and Design Course and Elective Visual Arts Course Curriculum. He also took part in the commission that prepared the books of these programs and served as coordinator. He served in the design centers monitoring committee of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. He took part as an executive in the official establishment and opening of the Private Ahmet Yakupoğlu Museum in 2023, and in moving the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Museum to its new building and activating it. He served as the chairman of the Visual Arts Education Association for two terms. Mercin, who is married and the father of three children, is currently a lecturer at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Visual Communication Design Department and has been the Dean of the same Faculty since 2019.
Born in 1982 in Aydın, GÖKBEL YAVUZOĞLU graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramics and Glass Department in 2005. During her undergraduate education, she worked as an intern at Mehmet Tüzüm Kızılcan Art Studio. The artist, who continued her master's degree at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Fine Arts, Ceramics and Glass Design Department, specialized in ceramic artifact restoration and conservation and completed one semester of her master's degree at Slovakia-Bratislava Art Academy. Later, she worked with Arzu Ataman Güngör under the roof of Atölye Türkbükü Arts and Crafts for 2 years. Then, the artist, who started her Proficiency in Art education at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Fine Arts, Ceramics and Glass Design Department, worked as an intern researcher at the innovation laboratories of International Mining Company SIBELCO in Italy and Belgium for ceramic and glass body research during the relevant period. Later, she worked as a technical sales specialist in the ceramic and glass industry in the said company for 3 years. The artist, who has participated in many national and international exhibitions, symposiums and workshops, has 4 special awards in the field of ceramics. Some of her artworks are in private collections in countries such as Slovakia, Serbia, Portugal, Latvia, Belarus, Tunisia and Malaysia. She received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Plastic Arts in 2020. She currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Kastamonu University.
Alberto Ferrer García (Benimàmet, 1989) holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Valencia, with a dissertation entitled “The Poem That Closes Without Confining Us: Art and Creativity in the Thought of Juan David García Bacca.” He began his teaching career as an adjunct professor in the Department of Philosophy and Sociology at the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, as well as in a private educational center in the same city. A tenured secondary school teacher, he currently teaches Philosophy at IES Clot del Moro (Sagunt) and is also a collaborating lecturer at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), where he teaches Contemporary Philosophy in the Master’s Program in Humanities: Art, Literature and Contemporary Culture. Additionally, he serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Valencia, where he teaches Aesthetics within the Philosophy track of the La Nau Gran program.
He has published extensively in national and international journals and academic presses, focusing primarily on the figure of García Bacca, while also engaging with thinkers such as A. N. Whitehead, Henri Bergson, William James, and Martin Heidegger. His research extends into Aesthetics and Art Theory, with special interest in the relationship between body and landscape, aesthetics and mysticism, and the interplay between intellectual and popular expressions in ephemeral art forms such as the falles. He has also worked on the visual arts in postwar Valencia, particularly in the second half of the 20th century.

Dr. Adeb Qaid is an Assistant Professor at the College of Architecture Engineering and Design, Kingdom University, Kingdom of Bahrain. He is a coordinator of the research unit from 2019 – 2024. His Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and his Master’s degree in Urban Design. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering and Built Environment. His professional affiliations include Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Associate Membership of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and Associate Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He is a Member of the Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN). He obtained a postdoctoral fellowship from UTM, Malaysia, worked on different research projects related to urban climate, urban heat island, and outdoor thermal comfort within the city. Dr. Adeb has several published researches in high impact journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus database. He was a chair and a chair session of different international conferences. He is the managing editor of the Journal of Sustainable Cities and Built Environment “JSCBE” (University Journal). He serve an editor of a special issue in the Jurnal Teknologi indexed in Scopus. He serve as a Guest Associate Editor in the Sustainable Infrastructure section, journal of Frontiers in Sustainable Cities. He recently a pointed as a Review Editor in the section of Climate Change and Cities and the section of Cities in the Global South. He is a reviewer for several international journals and conferences. His research interests include urban environmental studies, air pollution, resilient design, and sustainable design.
Dan Alban (b. 1985) is a visual artist who works and lives in Cluj-Napoca. He is a university
lecturer in the Ceramics - Glass - Metal Department at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-
Napoca, where he has been teaching since 2007, and in 2014, he obtained a PhD in Visual Arts.
He experiments with various artistic media, using both conventional materials and digital
technologies, mixed media, and 3D prototyping. In his creative work, he considers himself an
experimentalist and advocates for transdisciplinarity in visual arts.
