Abstract

Hidradenitis Süpürativa kıl folikülleri ve/veya ter bezlerinden kaynaklanan hastalık olarak tanımlanır. Vücutta genellikle anüs çevresi, koltuk altı, meme dokusu, genital bölge, kasık ve skrotumda görülür. HS’ de ağrı, akıntı, koku ve kaşıntı en sık görülen belirtilerdir. Hastaların yaşam kalitesini önemli derecede etkileyen, tedavisi uzun süren kronik bir hastalıktır. Hemşirelik kuramları hemşirelik uygulamalarına yol göstererek bakım kalitesini arttırmaya yardımcı olmaktadır. Kaliteli Bakım Kuramında hemşirenin rolü diğer sağlık profesyonelleri ile iletişime geçerek iyileşme sürecinde hasta ve ailesine destek olmak, önem verildikleri hissini uyandırmaktır. Bu olgu sunumunda Hidradenitis Süpürativa tanılı 43 yaşındaki erkek hastanın Joanne R. Duffy’nin Kaliteli Bakım Kuramı ile tedavi ve bakım sürecinin incelenmesi amaçlandı.

Abstract

Hidradenitis suppurativa is defined as a disease caused by hair follicles and/or sweat glands. It is usually seen around the anus, axilla, breast tissue, genital area, groin and scrotum. Pain, discharge, odor and itching are the most common symptoms in HS. It is a long-lasting chronic disease that significantly affects the quality of life of patients. Nursing theories help to improve the quality of care by guiding nursing practices. The role of the nurse in the Quality Care Theory is to support the patient and family in the healing process by communicating with other health professionals and to make them feel cared for. In this case report, it was aimed to examine the treatment and care process of a 43-year-old male patient diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa with Joanne R. Duffy's Quality Care Theory.
