Hittite Journal of Science and Engineering is an independent, open-access, online periodical journal that contains original scientific research papers and review articles in English. All published articles are subject to a single-blind peer-review process. Hittite Journal of Science and Engineering aims to contribute to science by publishing high-quality original scientific articles within the Research Areas and Subject Categories specified below. 

Research Areas/Subject Categories:

• Engineering: Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Geological Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Interdisciplinary Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Petroleum Engineering.
  
  
• The research areas and subject categories have been revised and restricted to the fields of Engineering listed above. Manuscripts outside these categories will not be accepted as of 01.04.2025. 
• Submissions on machine learning (ML) must detail some novel aspects of ML used in real-world engineering applications. Manuscripts that do not meet this requirement as of 01.04.2025 will be considered out of scope.
• In line with TRDizin and DergiPark suggestions, the research areas and subject categories have been revised and determined as Engineering, Computer Science, Food Science and Technology, and Materials Science. Manuscripts outside these categories will not be accepted as of 06.06.2023. Papers related to categories previously accepted (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, etc.) but not currently accepted can be sent to 'Hitit Science Journal'.

Article Submissions:
The submitted articles should be in line with the aim and scope of the journal. Each article should be original, unpublished, not under consideration for publication elsewhere,  and approved by all authors regarding its content and submission.

Target Audience:
The target audience includes professionals, experts, researchers, masters and doctoral students, as well as students interested in the subject categories specified in the aim and scope section. The journal aims to contribute to the dissemination of continuous professional development and research culture.

Fee Policy:
The publication of articles and the review and production process in the journal are free of charge. No fees are charged under any title for the articles submitted to or accepted for publication in the journal. Hittite Journal of Science and Engineering does not accept sponsorship or advertisements as part of its publication policies.
