ETHICAL PRINCIPLES AND PUBLICATION POLICY

Welcome to the International Journal of 3D Printing Technologies and Digital Industry. Our publication policy strictly follows internationally regarded ethical standards, such as the guidelines offered by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Helsinki Declaration, and national and international research and publication ethics regulations.

1. Ethical Standards and Compliance
- All studies on human or animal subjects should be in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration and should have been approved by an appropriate ethics committee in advance.
- All human participants' informed consent should be obtained and explained in the article.
- Retrospective data, clinical trials, or animal experiments must contain explicit documentation of ethical approval.

2. Authorship and Contribution
- Authorship is restricted to those who have contributed importantly to conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the study.
- All of the listed authors are required to approve the final submitted version and consent to taking responsibility for the whole of the manuscript.
- Individuals who do not qualify as authors should be mentioned in the Acknowledgements section.

3. Conflict of Interest
- Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the manuscript at the earliest opportunity.
- If there is no conflict of interest, provide the following statement: "The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest in the publication of this article."

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence
- AI software can also be used simply to improve language and readability.
- AI must not contribute to the scientific content, analysis, or interpretation.
- Any application of AI tools should be made clear in the manuscript.

5. Plagiarism and Research Misconduct
- The journal has a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and inappropriate image manipulation.
- All submissions are checked with iThenticate®. Manuscripts having a higher than 20% similarity index (excluding references) will be rejected.

6. Peer Review Policy
- The journal follows a double-blind peer review mechanism to maintain objectivity and neutrality.
- Authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation.
- Editors direct the review process to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

7. Retraction, Correction, and Withdrawal Policy
- In case of extreme ethical malpractice, the journal has the right to retract the article post-publication according to COPE guidelines.
- Authors can withdraw their manuscripts at any time before publication by informing the editorial office. There is no charge for withdrawal of manuscripts. Nevertheless, withdrawal of manuscripts after peer review initiation should be strongly justified to uphold the integrity of the peer review process.

8. Editorial Responsibilities
- Editors guarantee that editorial choices are founded only on academic merit and the article's importance to the field of study of the journal.
- Editors are also tasked with protecting intellectual property and personal information.
- Appeals and complaints are dealt with in accordance with COPE guidelines, and an ombudsman, if needed, is appointed.
