Abstract
The purpose of this article is to feature Durkheim and Weber's views that tend towards the essence of methodology by straying from the clichéd discourses of these two scientists, in other words to compare by examining thoroughly the relatively original contributions of Durkheim and Weber to sociological method. For this purpose the main lines of the sociological approaches of these two sociologists were addressed firstly and then the main rules of sociological methods of Durkheim were compared with Weber's method and the method of Weber were evaluated in a way were nested.
Abstract
Bu makalenin amacı, Durkheim ile Weber'in toplumbilimsel yönteme yaptıkları görece özgün katkıları irdeleyerek karşılaştırmaya, başka bir deyişle, her iki bilim insanının kalıplaştırılmış söylemlerinden uzaklaşarak, yöntembilimin özüne yönelen görüşlerini ön plana çıkarmaya çalışmaktır. Söz konusu amaç doğrultusunda önce her iki sosyologun toplumbilim yaklaşımlarının ana hatlarına değinilmiş, Durkheim'ın toplumbilimsel yöntem kuralları Weber ile; Weber'in yöntemleri de Durkheim ile iç içe geçecek biçimde karşılaştırılmıştır.
