Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry

Year 2025, Volume: 5 Issue: 1, 28 - 34, 27.06.2025

Abstract

Abstract
With the development of artificial intelligence that can imitate human way of thinking, many professions have developed innovative techniques and technologies in their fields. One of these is the profession of dentistry. This profession is already a field where human-machine interaction is mandatory. However, artificial intelligence has taken this process a few steps higher. Artificial intelligence has made tremendous contributions in radiographic evaluations, prosthetic treatment planning, orthodontic treatment processes, surgery, in short, in all dental departments involving diagnosis and treatment.
This study aimed to evaluate the development process of artificial intelligence and the contributions of this development to dentistry in detail through dental departments.

Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, dental automation, dental cad-cam systems

Diş Hekimliğinde Yapay Zeka

Year 2025, Volume: 5 Issue: 1, 28 - 34, 27.06.2025
