Hemşirelik ve Mesleki Kimlik

Abstract

Mesleki kimlik oluşumu ve gelişimi mesleki sosyalleşme süreci içerisinde gerçekleşmektedir. Hemşirelik öğrencileri eğitimleri süresince; ait olmayı istedikleri mesleğin normlarını, değerlerini, davranışlarını, tutumlarını ve kültürünü öğrenirler. Bir mesleğin üyesi olarak kimlik oluşturma süreci, hemşirelik çalışmalarına başlamadan önce eğitim sırasında ve mezun olduktan sonra hemşirelerin yaşamları boyunca gerçekleşir. Eğitim dönemi kimlik geliştirme sürecinin anahtarıdır ve bu süreçte mesleki kimliği etkileyen faktörler mesleki kimliği geliştirmekte ve sürekli gelişimini şekillendirmektedir. Hemşirelikte mesleki kimliği anlamak; hemşirelik eğitim müfredatlarını değerlendirmek, hemşirelik eğitiminde ve öğrencilikten profesyonel hemşireliğe geçiş boyunca değerlerin sürekli gelişimi için fırsatları belirlemek, hemşirelerin mesleki kimliklerini nasıl oluşturduklarına ve bunun test edilip güçlendirilmesi yoluyla hemşireliğin meslek olarak gelişimi için çok önemlidir. Ayrıca mesleki kimliği anlamak meslekleşme standartlarını karşılamada yol göstericidir. Hemşirelikte mesleki kimliği anlamak olumlu mesleki kimlik gelişimini sağlayarak yalnızca hemşirelere değil, aynı zamanda hastalara ve diğer sağlık çalışanlarına da yarar sağlayacaktır.

Abstract

Öz Mesleki kimlik oluşumu ve gelişimi mesleki sosyalleşme süreci içerisinde gerçekleşmektedir. Hemşirelik öğrencileri eğitimleri süresince; ait olmayı istedikleri mesleğin normlarını, değerlerini, davranışlarını, tutumlarını ve kültürünü öğrenirler. Bir mesleğin üyesi olarak kimlik oluşturma süreci, hemşirelik çalışmalarına başlamadan önce eğitim sırasında ve mezun olduktan sonra hemşirelerin yaşamları boyunca gerçekleşir. Eğitim dönemi kimlik geliştirme sürecinin anahtarıdır ve bu süreçte mesleki kimliği etkileyen faktörler mesleki kimliği geliştirmekte ve sürekli gelişimini şekillendirmektedir. Hemşirelikte mesleki kimliği anlamak; hemşirelik eğitim müfredatlarını değerlendirmek, hemşirelik eğitiminde ve öğrencilikten profesyonel hemşireliğe geçiş boyunca değerlerin sürekli gelişimi için fırsatları belirlemek, hemşirelerin mesleki kimliklerini nasıl oluşturduklarına ve bunun test edilip güçlendirilmesi yoluyla hemşireliğin meslek olarak gelişimi için çok önemlidir. Ayrıca mesleki kimliği anlamak meslekleşme standartlarını karşılamada yol göstericidir. Hemşirelikte mesleki kimliği anlamak olumlu mesleki kimlik gelişimini sağlayarak yalnızca hemşirelere değil, aynı zamanda hastalara ve diğer sağlık çalışanlarına da yarar sağlayacaktır.
