Aim & Scope

The primary aim of Mihman is to provide a scholarly platform for original academic studies on Alevism-Bektashism from various disciplines—including Theology, Literature, History, Sociology, and Philosophy—contributing to the accumulation of scientific knowledge in this field and disseminating high-quality research to a broad international academic audience.

The journal evaluates original research articles, reviews, translations studies, and book reviews that focus on themes such as belief systems, legends, lifestyles, sacred spaces, rituals, and historical development within the context of Alevism-Bektashism, and welcomes interdisciplinary contributions from across the social sciences.
