Dr. İskender Dölek is an academic specializing in geography education, disaster awareness, and spatial analysis. Through his interdisciplinary approach, he integrates geomorphology, disaster management, historical geography, and digital mapping techniques, contributing both theoretically and practically to the field. He has served as a researcher and project coordinator in numerous TÜBİTAK- and university-funded projects conducted across various regions of Turkey. In recent years, his work has focused particularly on meander dynamics in the Muş Plain, landslide susceptibility, historical battlefields, and disaster education through traditional knowledge.
Abdülhakim Zeybek studied at the Pamukkale University. He gained his Master of Science degree in Soil Mechanics and Engineering Seismology from the Imperial College London in 2012. He gained his PhD degree in Engineering from the Cambridge University in 2017. He is currently an Associated Professor of Engineering Department at Mus Alparslan University. He has research interests in the field of geotechnical earthquake engineering, particularly experimental and numerical investigations of liquefiable soils, partially saturated soils, shallow foundations and soil-structure interaction problems.
