Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the effect of nurses' understanding of teamwork on unmet care needs during the pandemic. This descriptive and correlational type of study was conducted in a hospital located in eastern Turkey during the pandemic between June-September 2021. The data of the study were collected using the “Introductory Information Form”, “Teamwork Scale in Nursing”, and “Unmet Nursing Care Needs Survey” through face-to-face interviews. The sample of the study consisted of 155 nurses. Data analyses were performed using the SPSS 22 program in a computer environment. Frequency, mean, percentage, and standard deviation were calculated for evaluation. As a result of the normal distribution of the data, t-test was used in two groups and one way anova test was used in groups of more than two. Person analysis used in normal distributions was used to calculate the relationship in the study. In the study, it was found that the total mean score of the nurses on the Nursing Teamwork Scale was 3.47±0.58. The mean score of the Unmet/Undelivered Nursing Care Needs Survey-A was 1.54±0.95; and the mean score of the Unmet/Undelivered Nursing Care Needs Survey-B was 3.30±0.63. A negative significant relationship was found between the total mean score of the Nursing Teamwork Scale and the total mean score of the Unmet/Undelivered Nursing Care Needs Survey-A (p<0.05). The study found that the nurses' team understanding was at a good level, that the nurses explained the care as "sometimes not provided" and that they mostly saw unmet nursing care as a "moderate reason". In addition, the study concluded that as the nurses' teamwork harmony increased, the unmet care needs of the patients decreased.

Abstract
Bu araştırma pandemi sürecinde hemşirelerin ekip çalışması anlayışının karşılanmayan bakım gereksinimlerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tipte planlanan bu araştırma, pandemi sürecinde Türkiye’nin doğusunda yer alan bir hastanede Haziran-Eylül 2021 tarihleri arasında yürütüldü. Araştırmanın verileri “Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu”, “Hemşirelikte Ekip Çalışması Ölçeği”, “Karşılanmayan Hemşirelik Bakım Gereksinimleri Anketi” kullanılarak yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle toplandı. Araştırmanın örneklemini 155 hemşire oluşturdu. Veri analizleri bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 22 programı kullanılarak yapıldı. Değerlendirme için frekans, ortalama, yüzde, standart sapma hesaplandı. Verilerin normal dağılımı sonucu ikili gruplarda t test, ikiden fazla olan gruplarda one way anova testi kullanıldı. Araştırmada ilişkinin hesaplanması için normal dağılımlarda kullanılan person analizi yapıldı. Araştırmada hemşirelerin Hemşirelikte Ekip Çalışması Ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının 3.47±0.58 olduğu bulundu. Karşılanmayan/Verilemeyen Hemşirelik Bakım Gereksinimleri Anketi-A’nın puan ortalamasının 1.54±0.95; Karşılanmayan/Verilemeyen Hemşirelik Bakım Gereksinimleri Anketi-B’nin ortalamasının 3.30±0.63 olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelikte Ekip Çalışması Ölçeği Toplam Puan Ortalaması ile Karşılanmayan/Verilemeyen Hemşirelik Bakım Gereksinimleri Anketi-A toplam puan ortalaması arasında negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptandı (p<0.05). Araştırmada hemşirelerin ekip anlayışının iyi düzeyde olduğu, hemşirelerin bakımları “bazen verilmiyor” şeklinde açıkladığı ve karşılanmayan hemşirelik bakımını çoğunlukla “orta bir neden” olarak gördüğü saptandı. Ayrıca araştırmada hemşirelerin ekip çalışması uyumu arttıkça hastaların karşılanmayan bakım gereksinimlerinin azaldığı sonucuna varıldı.
