Abstract

Abstract
A magnetic non-destructive testing system was constructed to check quality of the electric weldings on iron laminations for industrial applications. System magnetized by an ac current at f=500Hz and I=0.8A. Surface of the samples were scanned at three dimensions to capture surface leakage flux. The captured data is analized to get flux profile around welding region. Quality of the weldings were examined by analyzing surface leakage flux profile for industrial applications. In this paper, findings about quality control of electric weldings by detection of surface leakage flux will be presented
