Hatice S. Kesdi got her BSc in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Gazi University in 2008.With a multidisciplinary mind set, she started Industrial Design MSc degree at Anadolu University and graduated in 2012 with a thesis explored implications of sustainability on toy design sector. She studied PhD at Gazi University Industrial Design Department and completed her thesis at 2020. Her PhD thesis focuses on evaluating empowerment in participatory design projects. Both of her theses investigated these (theoretical) phenomena in a critical perspective to reveal how they are addressed in praxis. She is studying on transformative role of design. Sustainability, transition, social design and innovation, empowerment, participation and democracy are the keywords that lead her studies towards critical and cultural practices in design.
She worked as a Research Assistant at Gazi University between 2014-2020. She is working as a Asst. Prof. Dr. at Osmangazi University since 2021.
Assoc. Dr. Yunus ARAZ
He was born in Erzurum in 1981. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Erzurum. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 2003. He completed his master's degree at Marmara University Social Sciences Institute in 2010. In 2016, he completed his doctorate at Atatürk University Social Sciences Institute with his thesis titled "Compensation of Benefits in Islamic Law". In 2012, he started working as a research assistant at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Theology. In 2016, he received his Ph.D. degree in Islamic Law from the same faculty. Lecturer He was appointed as a member. He received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Basic Islamic Sciences on 29.09.2021. He currently continues to work as an Associate Professor at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Theology. He has various books, articles and papers published in the fields of Islamic law, Islamic Legal History, Islamic Legal Procedure, Islamic Economics and Finance.
