Abstract
In recent years, there is a need for innovative approaches in wound healing. Since oxygen accelerates wound healing, the use of methods that facilitate oxygen diffusion to the wound bed is increasing. There are many different methods of topical oxygen applications such as intermittent-continuous, high-pressure-low-pressure, portable-fixed. This review article was prepared to examine the indications, contraindications, types and application methods of topical oxygen applications used in chronic wound care in recent years.

Abstract
Günümüzde yara iyileşmesinde yenilikçi yaklaşımlara ihtiyaç duyulmaya başlanmıştır. Oksijenin yara iyileşmesini hızlandırması nedeniyle, yara yatağına oksijen difüzyonunu kolaylaştıran yöntemlerin kullanımı giderek artmaktadır. Topikal oksijen uygulamalarının aralıklı-sürekli, yüksek basınçlı- düşük basınçlı, portatif-sabit olmak üzere birçok farklı metotları bulunmaktadır. Bu derleme makalesinde kronik yara bakımında son yıllarda kullanılan topikal oksijen uygulamalarının endikasyonları, kontrendikasyonları, türleri ve uygulama şekillerini incelemek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır.
