Psikolojik Sözleşme İhlalinin Örgütsel Özdeşleşmeye Etkisinde Örgütsel Güvenin Aracı Rolü

Year 2024, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 15 - 27, 18.12.2024

Abstract

The Mediating Role of Organizational Trust in the Effect of Psychological Contract Breach on Organizational Identification

Year 2024, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 15 - 27, 18.12.2024

Abstract

This study aims to examine the mediating role of organizational trust in the relationship between psychological contract violations and organizational identification. The sample of the study consists of white-collar employees working in furniture manufacturing companies in Kayseri province. Data were collected from 404 employees, forming the basis of the analysis. To analyze the mediating role of organizational trust in the relationship between psychological contract breach and organizational identification, Process Macro Model 4, developed by Hayes (2013), was utilized. The findings indicate a negative relationship between psychological contract breach and organizational identification, with organizational trust serving as a mediator. This study contributes to the literature by being the first to simultaneously examine psychological contract as an independent variable, organizational identification as a dependent variable, and organizational trust as a mediator..
