Abstract
Pemphigus foliaceus is an autoimmune disease characterized by the disruption of keratinocyte adhesion due to the formation of autoantibodies against desmoglein-1 glycoproteins. In this study, a case report is presented of a patient diagnosed with pemphigus foliaceus confirmed by biopsy.
A 59-year-old female patient was admitted to the hospital with complaints of fluid-filled blisters and skin lesions. She was hospitalized, and a biopsy was taken, which confirmed the diagnosis of pemphigus foliaceus. Treatment with a prednisolone-based medication was initiated, and the process was managed with immunosuppressive drugs. Pseudomonas growth was observed during the course of treatment. After a 4-month hospitalization period, the patient was discharged. A multidisciplinary approach ensured accurate and effective treatment.

Abstract
Pemfigus foliaceus; desmoglein-1 glikoproteinlerine karşı otoantikor oluşması sonucu keratinosit hücrelerinin bağlantılarının kopmasıyla meydana gelen otoimmün bir hastalıktır. Bu çalışmada, biyopsi yardımıyla doğrulanmış pemfigus foliaceus tanısı alan bir hastanın olgu sunumu yapıldı.
59 yaşında kadın hasta içi su dolu kabarcık ve yara şikayetiyle hastaneye başvurdu ve hastanın yatışı gerçekleştirildi. Hastadan biyopsi alındı ve pemfigus foliaceus tanısı konuldu. Hastaya prednizolon etken maddeli ilaç tedavisi başlandı, süreç immünosupresif ilaçlarla baskılandı. Hastada Pseudomonas üremesi gözlemlendi. 4 aylık yatış sürecinin ardından hasta taburcu edildi. Multidisipliner yaklaşım, doğru ve etkili tedaviyi sağladı.
