Journal Of Selçuk Health  Reviewer Guidelines

Dear reviewers, please follow the steps below to evaluate an article submitted to Journal of Selçuk Health:

• Article Evaluation Process
  1. Log In: Log in to the DergiPark system using your username and password.
  2. Select Journal: Select the journal from the top menu to navigate to the relevant page.
  3. Reviewer Button: Click the “Hakem” (Reviewer) button on the left side.
  4. View Article: On the page that opens, you will see the name and status of the article assigned for your review. Click on the article name.
  5. Accept Invitation: On the newly opened page, you will be asked whether you accept to review the article. To accept, you must click the “Değerlendirmek İstiyorum” (I Want to Review) button, located in the green section.
  6. Download Article and Complete Form: After accepting the invitation, you can download the article file by clicking the "Değerlendirme Sürümü" (Review Version) heading in the dialogue section. You must perform your peer review on this file and complete the article's evaluation process by clicking the "Formu Doldur ve Gönder" (Fill Form and Submit) link on the same page.
  7. Upload Revised Article: You can upload the article file with your marked corrections to the system via the DOSYA EKLE-GÖNDER (ADD FILE-SUBMIT) section.
  

• Important Process Information
  • Acceptance/Rejection of Invitation: Reviewers invited to evaluate an article are expected to communicate their decision to accept or reject the invitation within 15 calendar days. Reviewers who do not communicate a decision within this period will be considered to have declined the review, and the editor may assign a new reviewer or send a reminder to the reviewer.
  • Review Duration: Reviewers who accept the invitation are expected to provide their feedback within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of invitation acceptance.
  • Blind Peer Review: The names of reviewers invited for evaluation are not disclosed to the authors (Single-Blind Peer Review).
  • Response Time for Revisions: Reviewers who wish to see the article again after revisions based on their suggestions are expected to respond to the authors' revisions within 15 (fifteen) calendar days. Reviewers who do not provide comments within this period are assumed to have expressed a positive opinion.
  • Ethical Responsibility: All users acting as reviewers are deemed to have agreed to abide by our journal's Ethical Guidelines.
