Abstract
Yaşamın sonunda hastaların sosyal, psikolojik ve manevi ihtiyaçları göz önünde bulundurularak yaşam kalitelerini olabilecek en üst seviyeye çıkarma konusu palyatif tıp çerçevesinde incelenmektedir. İncelenen bu eser, palyatif tıp konusunun tıbbi, hukuki, manevi ve etik boyutlarıyla alanlarında uzman araştırmacılar tarafından yazılmış kitap bölümlerini içermektedir. Bu çerçeveyi kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alan “Tıbbi, Hukuki, Manevi ve Etik Boyutlarıyla Palyatif Tıp” adlı bu eser, alandaki boşluğu doldurması açısından oldukça önemlidir.
Abstract
Taking into account the social, psychological and spiritual needs of patients who are close to death, the issue of maximizing their quality of life is examined within the framework of Palliative Medicine. The reviewed book contains chapters written by researchers who are experts in their fields with the medical, legal, spiritual and ethical dimensions of palliative medicine. The book titled “Palliative Medicine with its Medical, Legal, Spiritual and Ethical Dimensions”, which covers this framework in a comprehensive way, is very important in terms of filling the gap in the field.
