Türk Manevi Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Dergisi’ndeki Bilimsel Yayınlar (2020-2024) Üzerine Bibliyometrik Analizler

Abstract

Bu makalede, 2020 yılında yayın hayatına başlayan Türk Manevi Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Dergisi’nin 2020-2024 yılları arasında yayınlanan 1. ile 10. sayıları arasındaki bilimsel yayınların bibliyometrik analizleri yapılmıştır. Makalenin temel amacı, derginin alan tarihine olan akademik katkılarını değerlendirerek, söz konusu dönemde yayınlanan sayılardaki bilimsel ürünleri, bu araştırmaya yönelik çeşitli nitel parametreler aracılığıyla bilimsel bir perspektiften incelemektir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda elde edilen başlıca bulgular aşağıda sıralanmıştır: (i) Dergide toplam 94 yazarın akademik yayını bulunmakta olup bu yazarların % 97.87'si yerli, % 2.13'ü ise yabancı yazar olarak kaydedilmiştir. (ii) Yazarların akademik unvan dağılımında, en yüksek oran % 36.96 ile yüksek lisans öğrencilerine aittir. Buna karşın profesör unvanına sahip yazar oranı ise % 9.78 olarak belirlenmiştir. (iii) Bilimsel yayınlarda yazar sayısına göre dağılımda, % 82'si tek yazarlı, % 18'i ise iki yazarlı çalışmalardan oluşmaktadır. (iv) Bağlı oldukları kurumlar incelendiğinde ise yazarların % 70'i üniversitelerde, % 18'i Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'nda, % 8'i Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı'nda ve % 4'ü diğer kamu kurumlarında çalışmaktadır. (v) Dergide toplam 81 bilimsel yayın bulunmakta olup bunların % 68'i makale, % 31'i kitap incelemesi ve % 1'i çeviri makaleden oluşmaktadır. (vi) Makalelerin tematik konu içeriklerinde, en yüksek % 20 ile "psikoloji ve maneviyat ilişkisi", % 16.4 ile "sağlık ve manevi destek" ve yine % 16.4 ile "dinsel ve kültürel perspektifler" temaları öne çıkmaktadır. (vii) Kitap incelemeleri ise % 40 oranıyla "manevi danışmanlık ve rehberlik", % 28 ile "maneviyat ve psikoloji" ve % 16 ile "kriz ve manevi müdahale" temalarında yoğunlaşmıştır. (viii) Makalelerin metodolojik deseni incelendiğinde, % 54.55'inin ampirik, % 45.45'inin teorik çalışmalardan oluştuğu görülmüştür. (ix) Kitap incelemelerinde ise % 64 teorik, % 36 ampirik desenli içerikler bulunmaktadır. (x) Veri toplama yöntemleri arasında % 32.7 ile nitel yöntemler, % 27.3 ile dokümantasyon ve % 21.8 ile nicel yöntemler öne çıkmaktadır. Meta-analiz yöntemi ise tercih edilmemiştir. (xi) Kitap incelemelerinde en çok % 60 oranıyla dokümantasyon, % 24 ile nitel yöntem ve %12 ile nicel yöntemi kullanan kitaplar tanıtılmıştır. Karma yöntem % 4 oranında tercih edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Türkiye’deki ilk ve tek (2025) akademik alan dergisi olan söz konusu bu derginin, Türk manevi danışmanlık ve rehberlik literatürünün gelişimine bilimsel düzeyde önemli katkılar sunan akademik bir platform işlevi gördüğü tespit edilmiştir.

Bibliometric Analyses of Scientific Publications (2020–2024) in the Turkish Journal for the Spiritual Counseling and Care

Abstract

In this article, bibliometric analyses have been conducted on the scientific publications in the Turkish Journal for the Spiritual Counseling and Care, which began publication in 2020, covering issues 1 to 10 published between 2020 and 2024. The main aim of the article is to evaluate the journal's academic contributions to the field's history by examining the scientific publications in the issues published during the specified period from a scientific perspective through various qualitative research parameters. Key findings from the analysis include: (i) The journal features 94 authors, 97.87% local and 2.13% foreign. (ii) The highest academic title representation is master's students (36.96%), while professors make up 9.78%, highlighting significant participation from early-career researchers. (iii) Single-authored works constitute 82%, while 18% are co-authored, indicating a predominant trend of independent scholarly contributions. (iv) Institutional affiliations show 70% from universities, 18% from the Ministry of National Education, 8% from the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and 4% from other public institutions, demonstrating a strong academic and governmental presence in the journal's authorship. (v) The journal features 81 publications: 68% research articles, 31% book reviews, and 1% translations, showcasing a balanced variety of scholarly outputs. (vi) The most common article themes are "psychology and spirituality" (20%), "health and spiritual support" (16.4%), and "religious and cultural perspectives" (16.4%), reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the field. (vii) Book reviews focus on "spiritual counseling and care" (40%), "spirituality and psychology" (28%), and "crisis and spiritual intervention" (16%), indicating key areas of interest within the journal. (viii) Methodologically, 54.55% of articles are empirical, 45.45% theoretical, demonstrating a balance between data-driven and conceptual research. (ix) Among book reviews, 64% are theoretical, 36% empirical, showing a preference for analytical rather than experimental critiques. (x) Data collection methods include qualitative (32.7%), documentation (27.3%), and quantitative (21.8%), with no use of meta-analysis, underlining the journal's methodological diversity. (xi) In the book reviews, books employing documentation were introduced most frequently at a rate of 60%, followed by qualitative methods at 24%, quantitative methods at 12%, and mixed methods preferred at a rate of 4%. In conclusion, it has been determined that this journal, being the first and only (2025) academic journal in its field in Turkey, functions as an academic platform that provides significant scholarly contributions to the development of Turkish spiritual counseling and care literature.
