Abstract

Foreign body aspiration is one of the most common life-threatening emergencies in children. The symptoms of aspiration can vary depending on the location, extent, and quantity of the obstruction, as well as the size and shape of the object. The most commonly aspirated materials are organic substances such as nuts and peanut. Among inorganic objects, plastics and metals are typically observed. This case is presented to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis due to the high risk of mortality and morbidity associated with foreign body aspiration.
