KARATEPE-ASLANTAŞ AÇIK HAVA MÜZESİ ÇOK YÖNLÜ BİR PROJE

Year 2010, Issue: 8, 131 - 136, 01.09.2010

Abstract

Year 2010, Issue: 8, 131 - 136, 01.09.2010

Abstract

Excavations at Karatepe- Aslantaş began in a classical way but after a time evolved into a long termed, manysided project based on different concepts. These concepts can be summarized as the protection, restoration, exposition of the monuments within their natural and human setting as a whole and as dealing with the separate parts of this whole, as the emergence of architectural considerations to the foreground, and as not leaving anything to chance
