Abstract
Yaşadığınız çevreye yakından ve dikkatle baktığınız zaman, o bölgede, Ortaçağlarda hatta Taş Devri'nde yaşamış insanların izlerini bulacağınızdan emin olabilirsiniz. Bu projenin amacı, yerel tarihsel çevre ve kültürel mirası farklı bir öğretim yöntemiyle ele alarak çocuk eğitiminde kullanabilmektir. "Zaman Yolculuğu Projesi" Yeşilova Höyüğü'nde gerçekleştirilmektedir. Yeşilova Höyüğü İzmir'in içindeki en eski yerleşim alanıdır. Yakın zamana kadar İzmir'in tarihsel geçmişinin en çok 5 bin yıl olduğu düşünülürken, 2003 yılında Yeşilova Höyüğü'nün bulunmasıyla bu görüş geçerliliğini yitirmiştir. Burada gerçekleştirilen kazılarda elde edilen bulgular, Batı Anadolu'nun yerleşim tarihini 8500 yıl öncesine götürmüştür. Yüzey toprağının 4-5 metre altında ana toprak üzerinde yer alan ilk yerleşim Neolitik Çağ'ın başında başlamış M. Ö. 6500 ve dönemin sonuna doğru en zengin evresine ulaşmıştır. Yerleşim kısmen Kalkolitik Çağ'da da devam etmiştir. Höyük alanı sıklıkla yaşanan sel baskınlarının ardından terk edilmiş ve sonunda tamamen alüvyon tabakası altında kalmıştır.Bölge kültür tarihi açısından son derece önemli bir arkeolojik alan olan Yeşilova'da hazırlanan Zaman Yolculuğu projesi ile çocuklar ve yetişkinler, geçmişteki günleri beş duyularını birden kullanarak deneyimleyebilirler. Çeşitli dönemlere ait kostümler giymek ve bir günü, o dönemde orada yaşamış ve çalışmış insanlar gibi geçirmek, yoğun bir anlayış ve bilgi edinimi ile sonuçlanır.
Abstract
If you look around the place where you live more carefully, then you can be sure to find evidence for people who lived in the Middle Ages and perhaps even the Stone Age. The aim of this project is to consider the local historical environment and the associated cultural heritage using a different method of instruction; the use of child education. "The Time Travel Project" takes place at the archaeological site of Yeşilova, the oldest site in Izmir. Until recently it was widely accepted that the oldest periods represented in the archaeological history of the Izmir region dated barely beyond five thousand years before the present. Recent investigations at Yeşilova have resulted in a complete alteration of this perspective as the data obtained date the site back to as early as 8500years ago
