TÜRKİSTAN’DA ENERJİ ÇALIŞMALARININ GÖRSEL HARİTALAMA TEKNİĞİ İLE ANALİZİ

Year 2025, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 237 - 260, 30.04.2025

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF ENERGY STUDIES IN TURKESTAN WITH VISUAL MAPPING TECHNIQUE

Year 2025, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 237 - 260, 30.04.2025

Abstract

The most fundamental problem of today's world awaiting a solution is global climate change. The most important reason for global climate change is the damage to the environment caused by fossil fuels used in production and consumption. Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, which are among the countries in the Turkestan region with high potential in terms of renewable energy resources, are interested in solar and wind energy. In this context, international scientific publications on renewable energy addressed to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, scanned in the Web of Science database, were examined with bibliometric analysis and visual mapping techniques. In order to determine how much interest is shown in renewable energy in these countries, 163,383 studies were reached as a result of the search conducted on 26.08.2024 in the Web of Science database by typing "renewable energy" as the subject. 59,448 of these studies are open to access, and Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were selected with country filtering and 103 publications were found. Researchers in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are showing increasing interest in renewable energy, especially after 2022.
