ÖZET
Makalede Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in farklı okuma şekillerini konu edinen kırâat ilminin tanıtımı, tarifi yapılarak, bu ilmin tâli konuları anlatılmaktadır. Kur’an-ı Kerîm’i en iyi ve en doğru şekilde okuyup anlayabilmek için bu ilmin gerekli olduğu anlatılmaya çalışıldı. Diğer islâmi ilimler ile olan münâsebeti konusuna da değinildi. Özellikle tefsir ve fıkıh ilimleri için kırâat ilminin önemine atıf yapıldı. Daha sonra ise, kırâat ilmine karşı ehli sünnetin yaklaşımı, şiâ’nın ve oryantalistlerin eleştirileri değinildi.
Son olarak da kırâat ilminin, dayanağı, ortaya çıkışı ve bir ilim dalı olarak Müslümanların hayatında yer alma süreci anlatıldı. Bu süreç içinde cem’ ve istinsah olayı ile kırâat ilminin resmî bir kimlik kazandığı çalışmalara değinildi.

ABSTRACT
In the article, the introduction and description of the science of recitation, which deals with the different ways of reading the Qur'an, is explained, and the secondary subjects of this science are explained. It has been tried to explain that this knowledge is necessary in order to be able to read and understand the Qur'an in the best and most accurate way. The relationship with other Islamic sciences was also mentioned. The importance of the science of recitation was made especially for the sciences of tafsir and fiqh. Then, the approach of the Ahl as-Sunnah to the science of recitation, the criticisms of Shia and orientalists were mentioned.
Finally, the basis of the science of recitation, its emergence and the process of taking place in the lives of Muslims as a branch of science were explained. In this process, the studies in which the science of recitation gained an official identity with the event of cem' and istinsah were mentioned.

The ethics committee approvals obtained in accordance with the “publication policy” of the articles submitted to the Turkish Academic Social Sciences Research Journal must be specified in the METHOD section of the article and uploaded to the system. Publications with plagiarism report over 20% and studies without ethics committee approval will not be evaluated for publication in our journal.
