Abstract
Sözlü kültürün oluşmasında ve aktarılmasında bir önemli araç olan türküler, toplumların kimliğini inşa eder. Türküler yalnızca folklor ve müzikoloji alanlarında değil bilimin her alanında incelenmeye değer metinlerdir. Türkü sözleri ihtiva ettiği söz varlığıyla dilbilim için de değerli bir çalışma alanı olmuştur. Toplumsal kimliği oluşturan türküleri, toplumsal cinsiyet ve toplumdilbilimi açısından incelemek bu çalışmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Türkülerde anlatılanlar insan hayatının gerçekliğidir. İnsanoğlu başından geçen her olayı, içinde yaşadığı en derin duyguları da türküler vasıtasıyla dile getirmiştir. Türkü metinlerinde en dikkat çeken nokta kadın erkek ilişkileridir. Genellikle erkek ağzının egemen olduğu türkülerde, erkeğin gözünde kadının nasıl göründüğünü ve kadına dair unsurların nasıl anlatıldığını görebilmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada türkülerde cinsellikle ilgili söylemler ve toplumsal cinsiyet incelenecektir. Bu çalışmanın kapsamı Aydın, Denizli, İzmir, Muğla, Kütahya, Uşak, Afyon ve Manisa illerinin oluşturduğu Ege türküleridir. Çalışmamızda TRT Türk Halk Müziği Repertuvarında yer alan türküleri inceledik. İncelenen türkülerde biyolojik ve toplumsal cinsiyete dair doğrudan ya da dolaylı tüm söylemler tespit edilmiş, tespit edilen söylemler kendi içinde tasnif edilmiş ve örneklerle açıklanmıştır. Bölgenin toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri ve cinselliğe bakış açısı hakkında bir fikir veren bu çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde ise kadın ağzı ve erkek ağzı türkülerin oranları tespit edilmiş, cinsel çağrışımlı türkülerin oranları illere göre karşılaştırmalı olarak verilmiştir.

Abstract
Folk songs, which serve as an important medium in the formation and transmission of oral culture, contribute significantly to the construction of a society's identity. These songs are not only of interest in the fields of folklore and musicology but also constitute valuable texts worthy of examination across all disciplines, including linguistics, due to the vocabularythey contain. The primary aim of this study is to analyze folk songs—texts that shape societal identity—through the lenses of gender and sociolinguistics. What is conveyed in folk songs reflects the reality of human life. Through these songs, people have expressed the events they have experienced and their deepest emotions. One of the most striking aspects of folk song lyrics is the depiction of male-female relationships. In songs predominantly narrated from a male perspective, it is possible to observe how women are perceived by men and how female-related elements are portrayed. This study focuses on the discourse surrounding sexuality and gender roles within folk songs. The scope of this research is limited to the folk songs of the Aegean region of Turkey, including the provinces of Aydın, Denizli, İzmir, Muğla, Kütahya, Uşak, Afyon, and Manisa. We analyzed the folk songs included in the TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) Turkish Folk Music Repertoire. All explicit and implicit discourses related to biological and social gender in the selected songs were identified, categorized, and explained with examples. In the conclusion section, the study offers insights into the region’s gender roles and perspectives on sexuality. It also presents a comparative analysis by determining the proportions of songs sung from male and female perspectives and examining the prevalence of songs with sexual connotations across the various provinces.
