Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusunu Lars Johanson’un 2021 yılında basılan Turkic adlı kitabı oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma bir kitap değerlendirme yazısıdır. Turkic, tarihi ve modern olmak üzere Türk dil ailesinin tamamına sistematik, kapsamlı ve genel bir bakış sunmaktadır. Burada amaç tek tek Türk dillerini ele almak değil tematik konular üzerinden Türk dillerinin eşzamanlı, artzamanlı ve tipolojik olarak birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmasıdır. Eser, giriş ve teknik detaylar başlıklı iki bölümle birlikte toplam 59 bölümden oluşmaktadır.

Abstract

The subject of this study is Lars Johanson's book titled Turkic, published in 2021. This work is a book review. Turkic offers a systematic, comprehensive, and general overview of the entire Turkic language family, both historical and modern. The aim here is not to address each Turkic language individually, but rather to compare them thematically in terms of their synchrony, diachrony, and typology. The work consists of a total of 59 sections, along with an introduction and a section on technical details.
