Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyse the impact of innovation on electric power generation in Turkey. For this purpose, the years 1990-2021 are considered. ARDL method based on time series analysis is used in the application part of the study. There are two models in which electric power generation is the dependent variable. In one of the models, general electrical energy production is considered to represent electrical energy production, while renewable electrical energy production is considered in the other model. According to the main result of the study, the effect of innovation on both general electrical energy generation and electrical energy generation from renewable sources is positive and significant. However, the positive effect of innovation on electric energy generation from renewable resources is greater than its effect on general electric energy generation.

Yeniliğin Elektrik Enerjisi Üretimi Üzerine Etkisi: Türkiye Üzerine Ampirik Bir Analiz

Year 2025, Volume: 11 Issue: 1, 285 - 302, 22.04.2025
