ARTICLE UPLOAD GUIDE
This guide has been prepared to outline the process for authors who submit articles to Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy and to explain the path to follow.
Articles sent to International Journal of Social Sciences Academy are first sent to the language and pre-check editor, articles that have completed the pre-check process positively are taken to the pricing stage, authors are contacted by e-mail and informed about the process. Articles that have completed the pricing process are taken to the refereeing stage. Articles that have completed the refereeing process positively are sent to the layout editor and then to the publication editor and taken to the publication stage. In this flow traffic, the period that can elapse from the preliminary review process of a new article to its publication is at least 40 days and this period can reach 120 days depending on the process. We kindly request our authors to consider that the evaluation process may be longer than expected before uploading an article. We would like to remind you that once the article is uploaded to the system and has passed the preliminary acceptance, no refunds will be made in case of withdrawal or rejection of the article.

When uploading an article to the International Journal of Social Sciences Academy, the following points should be taken into consideration:
1. Before submitting an article, the journal's publication policy, journal topics, index information, etc. should be carefully reviewed on the journal homepage, and no one-on-one communication should be attempted with the journal editors on these issues, or attempts should be made to obtain information via e-mail. Authors are responsible for any disagreements that may arise during or after the publication of the article.
2. Before uploading your article, make sure that you have read and applied all the articles of the "Publication Principles". Make sure that all the necessary documents in the publication principles and listed below are uploaded to the system during the application.
3. Prepare your article using the
"Article Template". Make sure that the features specified in the template are preserved. After placing your article in the template, only delete the yellow notes. (If your article is accepted, it will be published as you sent it. Therefore, it is mandatory and important to comply with the template.)
4. The Author-Named Full Text of your article, which you prepared according to the template and deleted only the author names, should be in Word file format. Make sure that the unnamed Word file you upload to the system does not contain any names that remind you of the name, surname or author in its name (and text content). (When uploading unnamed article files to the DergiPark system, the file name should be “Full Text Unnamed”).
5. The Author-Named Full Text of your article, which you prepared according to the template, should be in Word file format. The relevant sections in the article text should include the author names and other necessary information about the author (When uploading named article files to the DergiPark system, the file name should be “Full Text Named”).
6. When uploading the
Copyright Transfer Form, make sure that the information and signatures of the author(s) are included in the form. (The file name should be
“Copyright Transfer Form” when uploading to the DergiPark system.)
7. During the application, the
Ethics Committee Permission Document must be uploaded to the system. In cases where an Ethics Committee Permission Document is not required, authors must upload this document to the system. If the Ethics Committee permission is obtained, the institution, date and decision number from which the permission was obtained must be stated in the method section of the article. If the Ethics Committee permission is not needed, the reason must be explained in the method section. Institutional or individual application permissions obtained for the research do not replace the Ethics Committee Permission. (The file name should be
“Ethics Committee Permission Document” when uploading to the DergiPark system.)
8. The similarity / plagiarism report will be created by the intihal.net program while the article is being uploaded and will be notified to you. If your similarity rate is high, you can review the upload process.
9. After submitting an article to the International Journal of Social Sciences Academy, completing the pre-acceptance phase and contacting you, the receipt showing that the application fee has been paid must be shared with the relevant editor. Detailed information is available on the fee policy page.

Also:
- If a revision is requested, upload the corrected article as a new corrected version over the previous files. Do not create a separate additional file.
- If a revision is requested, be sure to state the revisions you made and the referee suggestions you could not implement by adding explanations in the correction file.
- If a revision is requested, after the revisions you made and during the publication phase, make sure that the Article Metadata sections (Turkish-English abstract, keywords, bibliography, author information, etc.) are also updated in the electronic environment on the DergiPark page. For your correction requests for the article file, please forward them to the publication editor who requested your publication approval before publication, and for your correction requests for the article metadata information in the electronic environment, please forward them to the journal editor during the early view process. The author is ultimately responsible for updating and ensuring that the information regarding the article file and article metadata is correct.
- The International Journal of Social Sciences Academy is not responsible for any problems you may encounter or mistakes made during article upload. If you would like to get help, please contact the DergiPark Technical Support Unit.
- It is not considered appropriate to send articles to the Journal of the International Academy of Social Sciences via e-mail and to communicate with the staff via their personal e-mails and phones regarding the publication of the article. The status of the article is provided to the responsible authors as "Status Information" on DergiPark. The process should be followed on the DergiPark system and communication should be established via the message section of DergiPark when necessary.
