Year 2025, Volume: 11 Issue: 2, 191 - 201, 30.06.2025

Abstract

Aim: The objective of this study is to examine the effects of innovative management applications in the sport industry and to reveal how these practices contribute to the sustainable growth of sport organisations, gaining competitive advantage and increasing operational efficiency.
Methods: In order to examine the impact of innovative applications on sports management, the keywords “sports”, “management”, “innovation” and “technology” were used to scan and compile relevant publications in the Web of Science, Scopus and Google Scholar databases between 2000-2024. Digital technologies, social innovations and sustainability-oriented applications in the sports industry are the main components of this scan. Management practices were evaluated in the context of the role of leadership and strategic innovation in gaining competitive advantage for sports organizations. In addition, the impact of social innovations on social welfare, how technological innovations transform the sports experience and how sustainability principles are applied in the management of sports facilities were discussed in this framework.
Conclusion: Innovative applications can increase the efficiency of the sports industry and strengthen the sustainability and competitive capacity of organizations. However, in order for these applications to be successful, factors such as costs, technological infrastructure, personnel training and the cultural structure of the organization must be carefully considered. The effective application of innovation in the field of sports makes significant contributions to the development of the sports industry both locally and globally.

Sporda İnovatif Yönetim Uygulamaları

Year 2025, Volume: 11 Issue: 2, 191 - 201, 30.06.2025
