The Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Journal of Engineering Faculty adheres to an open access policy, grounded in the principle that the unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge contributes to the advancement of global information sharing.

In alignment with this principle, all articles published in the journal are freely accessible online without financial, legal, or technical barriers. Provided that appropriate citation is given in accordance with ethical and academic standards, the content may be accessed, read, downloaded, reproduced, distributed, printed, scanned, linked to full texts, indexed, incorporated into software as data, and utilized for any lawful purpose.

All published works, including supplementary materials, are permanently available free of charge through the journal’s archive (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/vyyumfd/archive).

No submission or peer review fees are required from authors at any stage of the publication process.

Our journal follows the Open Source Publication Policy.

Articles that have completed the evaluation are published based on their arrival date. Once the articles are prepared for publishing, they are added to the upcoming issue. However, the whole issue is published only after all articles are completed.

During the layout process, the author(s) will receive submissions for control and correction (press proof), which must be addressed within a specified timeframe. If an author(s) fails to respond within the given time, their articles will be evaluated in the next issue.
