Öğretmenlerin İş Yaşam Kalitesi İle Pozitif Psikolojik Sermaye Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı, ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin iş yaşam kalitesi ile pozitif psikolojik sermaye düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem 385 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Akar ve Üstüner (2017) tarafından geliştirilen “İş Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği”, Tösten ve Özgan (2014) tarafından geliştirilen “Pozitif Psikolojik Sermaye Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin iş yaşam kalitesi ve pozitif psikolojik sermaye düzeylerini belirlemek için aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmada ortaokul öğretmenlerinin iş yaşam kalitesi ve pozitif psikolojik sermaye algıları yüksek düzeyde çıkmıştır. Ortaokul öğretmenlerin iş yaşam kalitesi algıları medeni durum ve okul türüne göre anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Ortaokul öğretmenlerin pozitif psikolojik sermaye algıları okul türü ve öğrenim durumuna göre anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin iş yaşam kalitesi ile pozitif psikolojik sermaye düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü ve orta düzeyde anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmektedir.

Investigating the Relationship Between Teachers' Quality of Work Life and Positive Psychological Capital Levels

Öz

The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between quality of work life and positive psychological capital levels of teachers working in secondary schools. Relational survey model and simple random sampling method were used in the study.The sample consists of 385 teachers. “Quality of Work Life Scale” developed by Akar and Üstüner (2017) and ‘Positive Psychological Capital Scale’ developed by Tösten and Özgan (2014) were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean and standard deviation values were calculated to determine the quality of work life and positive psychological capital levels of secondary school teachers. In the study, quality of work life and positive psychological capital perceptions of secondary school teachers were found to be at a high level. Secondary school teachers' perceptions of quality of work life differ significantly according to marital status and school type. Secondary school teachers' perceptions of positive psychological capital differ significantly according to school type and education level. There is a positive and moderately significant relationship between quality of work life and positive psychological capital levels of secondary school teachers.
