Mandibular Kanin Dişlerde Nadir Görülen Karmaşık Kanal Morfolojilerinin Endodontik Yönetimi: Tip II ve Tip V Morfoloji Senaryoları

Öz
Endodontik tedavinin başarısı, değişken ve karmaşık diş morfolojisi hakkında kapsamlı şekilde bilgi sahibi olunmasına bağlıdır. Tedavi sonrası başarısızlığı önlemek için kök kanal morfolojisinin doğru bir şekilde anlaşılması gereklidir. Mandibular kanin dişlerinde genellikle Vertucci Tip I morfolojisine sahip tek kanal bulunur. Daha az sıklıkla iki kanal ve diğer Vertucci morfolojileri görülür. Bu komplike morfolojilerin anlaşılması için açılı periapikal radyografik görüntülerin doğru yorumlanması, iyi oluşturulmuş giriş kavitesi, aydınlatmalı büyütme araçlarının kullanılması temel adımlardır. Bu vaka serisi, kök kanal tedavisinin başarılı bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmesinde anatomik varyasyonların tanınmasının önemini göstermektedir. Kök kanal tedavisi uyguladığımız mandibular kanin dişlerinde, Vertucci Tip II ve Tip V kanal morfolojilerine sahip üç vakanın yönetimi açıklanmakta ve gösterilmektedir.

Endodontic Management of Rare Complex Canal Morphologies in Mandibular Canines: Type II and Type V Morphology Scenarios

The success of endodontic treatment depends on a thorough knowledge of the variable and complex tooth morphology. An accurate understanding of root canal morphology is essential to prevent post-treatment failure. Mandibular canines usually have one canal with Vertucci Type I morphology. Less commonly, two canals and other Vertucci morphologies are observed. Correct interpretation of angled periapical radiographic images, a well-formed access cavity, and the use of illuminated magnification tools are essential steps in understanding these complex morphologies. This case series illustrates the importance of recognizing anatomical variations in the successful of root canal treatment. The management of three cases with Vertucci's Type II and Type V canal morphologies in mandibular canines that we performed root canal treatment is described and illustrated.
