Dr. Mehmet Önder Efe received the B.Sc. degree from Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Istanbul Technical University (Turkey) in 1993, and M.S. degree from Systems and Control Engineering Department, Boğaziçi University (Turkey), in 1996. He completed his Ph.D. study in Boğaziçi University, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in June 2000. Between August 1996 - December 2000, he was with Boğaziçi University, Mechatronics Research and Application Center as a research assistant. During 2001, Dr. Efe was a postdoctoral research fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and he was a member of the Advanced Mechatronics Laboratory team. Between January 2002 and July 2003 he was with The Ohio State University, Electrical Engineering Department as a postdoctoral research associate. He worked at the Collaborative Center of Control Science. As of September 2003, he started working at Atılım University, Department of Mechatronics Engineering as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Efe was entitled Associate Professor in 2004 and Full Professor in, 2009. In August 2004, he joined Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of TOBB University of Economics and Technology. Dr. Efe was the founding chairman of the department between August 2004-July 2007 and between June 2008 and August 2010. Dr. Efe has initiated the MS and Ph.D. programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at TOBB ETU, where he has taken several administrative positions. Between December 2010-May 2011, Dr. Efe was with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Bahçeşehir University as a full professor and department chair in the last two months of this period. Dr. Efe was with the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association between May 2011-May 2013, and he held the positions Vice Rector of the university and the Dean of the Air Transportation Faculty between May 2011-April 2013, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering between February 2012-November 2012. Since September 2013, he has been with the Department of Computer Engineering of Hacettepe University and he was the head of the department (2015-2018) and the head of the computer hardware division since 2013.

Dr. Efe was the head of IEEE CSS Turkey Chapter between January 2007 and December 2008, and he is currently a Senior Member of IEEE. He is the Editor of Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control, Editor of Measurement and Control, and he is/was in the editorial boards of the journals IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, Applications of Modelling and Simulation, Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, International Journal of Industrial Electronics and Control and Advances in Fuzzy Systems, Applications of Modelling and Simulation.

Dr. Efe is the author/co-author of five books and more than 210+ technical publications focusing on the applications of computational intelligence, unmanned aerial vehicles and systems and control theory. Dr. Efe is the recipient of Ph.D. Thesis Award of Boğaziçi University Research Fund, Remarkable Work Award of 2012 by Turkish Academy of Sciences (TUBA) for Circuit Analysis volumes I and II, and Copyrighted Book Award of 2013 by Turkish Academy of Sciences (TUBA). Dr. Efe was the referee for highly prestigious national awards, TUBITAK Science Award, TUBITAK Special Award, TUBA Academy Award, IEEE Turkey Awards and TESID Industry Awards for Innovation and Creativity.

Prof. Dr. Erol KURT took his M.Sc. degree from the Inst. Science &
Technology, Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey in 2001 on Experimental Physics. He was
awarded by an European Graduate Collage Grant during his Ph.D study at the Inst. Physics &
Math., Bayreuth University in Germany. He completed his Ph.D. degree in 2004 on the
instabilities of rotating magnetic fluids and worked at Turkish Atomic Energy Authority R&D
Department for 3 years. Afterwards, He was assigned to the position of Assoc. Prof., at
Technology Faculty, Gazi University. His main research areas include energy systems design &
implementation, nonlinear phenomena in electrical/electronic circuits, electric machine design,
mechanical vibrations, chaos, plasmas and magneto-hydrodynamics.

He is founder chairman to 3 serial conferences, namely European Conference on Renewable
Energy Systems (ECRES – www.ecres.net ), International Conference on Mechanical
Engineering (ICMECE – www.icmece.org ) and Interdisciplinary Conference on Electrics &
Computer (www.intcec.org ).

He has been/is guest editor for many reputable journals including Q1, Q2,Q3
and Q4 journals. He is the Founder, Owner and Editor-in-Chief to a SCOPUS-indexed scientific
referred academic journal, Journal of Energy Systems (dergipark.org.tr/jes) and the member of
Turkish Science Research Foundation (TUBAV). Ha has been supervisor to many PhD, MSc
thesis and internationally and also supervising person for energy issues for the companies in
the country. He taught many physics and engineering courses in undergraduate and graduate
levels in the university. He is also conducting 2 Labs on energy systems and Electromagnetics
in Technology Faculty, which graduates engineers. He has 4 national patents and 1 utility model
on energy machines. He conducted many national research projects including TUBITAK and
university ones and international projects including Erasmus projects. He is one of the editors of
highly-cited book on energy, namely Energy Harvesting and Energy Efficiency: Technology, Methods, Applications”, 2017, Springer, UK. He also wrote a national book on Chaotic Dynamics
and translated a well-known Schauma’s Physics Book Series to Turkish. In addition, many book chapters were translated in Schauma’s Physics Book Series.

Dr Mufti Mahmud is a Professor in the Information and Computer Science Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. Dr Mahmud holds a PhD in Information Engineering (Bioengineering Curriculum) from the University of Padova, Italy. He received a First Class BSc in Computer Science from the University of Madras (India) and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Mysore (India) with Distinction. He then pursued an MS in Nano and Micro Electromechanical Systems (NEMS/MEMS) at the University of Trento, Italy.

I am working as a Professor in the Department of Software and Systems Engineering, SCORE, VIT, Vellore, India. I have completed Ph.D. from NIT, Bhopal, India. My research areas are Data Mining and Big Data Predictive Analytics. I have published 30+ reputed Journal Papers and 17 papers presented in reputed international conferences. I received various awards from the Indian Government like DST-SERB, CSIR Travel Grant, and MPCST Young Scientist Fellowship. TÜBİTAK Uzay Teknolojileri Araştırma Enstitüsü Strateji, Eşgüdüm ve Kurumsal İletişim Grubu Lideri Dr. Medeni Soysal, mühendislik kariyerine ODTÜ Elektrik ve Elektronik Bölümünden mezun olduktan hemen sonra yapay görü, örüntü tanıma ve makine öğrenmesi alanında başlamıştır. Dr. Soysal, bu alanda yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmalarını, TÜBİTAK UZAY bünyesinde yürüttüğü araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetleri ile etkileşim içinde yürütmüştür.
Kariyerinin ileri aşamalarında, Avrupa Uzay Ajansı (ESA) ‘dan Uzay Hukuku ve Politikaları alanında eğitim alan Dr. Soysal; Birleşmiş Milletlerin (BM) uzay konusunda özelleşmiş tek komitesi olan Uzayın Barışçıl Amaçlarla Kullanımı Komitesi (COPUOS) ve onun alt komiteleri ile çalışma gruplarında Türkiye’yi temsil etmiştir. Temsil görevleri sonrasında, Avusturya’nın Viyana şehrindeki BM Uzay İşleri Ofisinde (UNOOSA) görev alarak, uzay alanında uluslararası ilişkiler ve çok taraflı bürokrasi tecrübesi edinmiştir.
Mühendislik ve uzay hukuku alanlarında 25’i aşkın bildiri ve makalesi olan Dr. Soysal, 2019 yılında, Türkiye Uzay Ajansının (TUA) kurulması çalışmalarına katılmak üzere Türkiye’ye dönmüştür. Dönüşünün ardından, TUA’nın uluslararası lansmanı olarak değerlendirilebilecek “Birleşmiş Milletler Uzay Hukuku ve Politikaları Konferansı”nın organizasyonunu, İstanbul’da Türkiye adına yönetmiştir.
Avrupa Uzay Ajansı bursu ile katıldığı, Uluslararası Uzay Üniversitesi Uzay Araştırmaları Programını 2022 yılında başarıyla tamamlayan Dr. Soysal, uluslararası ilişkiler alanında yüksek lisansını Hacettepe Üniversitesinde 2024 yılında tamamlamıştır.
