Öğretmenlerin Mesleğe İlişkin Kariyer Beklentilerinin Belirlenmesi

Öz
Eğitim sisteminin başarısı, eğitim paydaşlarının işbirliğine ve eğitim sisteminin sürekli yenilenmesine dayanmaktadır. Öğretmen kariyer sistemleri, öğretmenlerin dünyadaki hızlı değişim ve gelişimden geri kalmamak için kendilerini yenilemelerine olanak sağlayan sistemler olarak kabul edilmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin mesleğe ilişkin güncel kariyer algılarını ve beklentilerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kütahya ilinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı devlet okullarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya 32 ilkokul ve lise öğretmeni katılmıştır. Araştırmada, mevcut durumu belirlemek amacıyla nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır. Veriler betimsel analiz kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğretmenlerin çoğunluğu öğrencilere daha iyi bir eğitim sağlamada mesleki kariyerin önemli olduğunu düşünmektedir. Birçok öğretmen, mesleki kariyer gelişiminin mesleğe katkı sağladığını düşünmektedir. Özellikle öğretmenler, kariyer gelişiminin sunulan eğitimin kalitesini ve öğretmenin mesleki hazırbulunuşluğunu artıracağı görüşündedir. Araştırma sonuçlarına dayanarak öğretmenlere kariyer planlama ve geliştirme süreci hakkında bilgi verilmesi, kariyer gelişiminde artışın gerekçeleriyle birlikte anlatılması, kariyer gelişiminin faydalarının açıklanması, iyileşmenin kariyer performansını artıran teşvik sistemlerinin oluşturulması, iyileşmenin performans özelliklerinin artırılması, fiziksel mesleklere katkı sağlanması ve becerilerde uzmanlaşmanın desteklenmesi önerilmektedir.

The success of the education system is based on the cooperation of education stakeholders and the continuous renewal of the education system. Teacher career systems are acknowledged as systems that allow teachers to renew themselves in order not to be left behind by the rapid change and development in the world. The purpose of the research is to reveal the current career perceptions and expectations of teachers regarding the profession. The research was conducted in public schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Kütahya during the 2023-2024 academic year. 32 primary and high school teachers participated in the research. In the research, phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to determine the current situation. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. According to the research findings, the majority of teachers think that a professional career is important in providing a better education to students. Many teachers think that professional career development contributes to the profession. In particular, teachers are of the opinion that career development will increase the quality of the education offered and the professional readiness of the teacher. Based on the research results, informing teachers about the career planning and development process, explaining to them the increase in career development with justificationand clarifying the benefits of career development, establishing incentive systems that increase the career performance of recovery, increasing the performance characteristics of recovery, contributing to physical professions and supporting the specialization of skills is recommended.
