Digitalization and sustainability are two fundamental elements shaping current manufacturing systems. Within the scope of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, production systems integrated with digital technologies are expected not only to generate economic value but also to adopt sustainable approaches that consider environmental and social dimensions. A review of the relevant literature reveals a growing number of studies that address digitalization and sustainability in an integrated manner. The aim of this study is to conduct a comprehensive literature review focusing on digitalization and sustainability in manufacturing systems and to identify the main approaches in the field through bibliometric analysis. The findings of the study categorize the main approaches as follows: digital economy and sustainability, digital transformation and business models, circular economy, smart technologies, and environmental and social factors. This study is expected to contribute to the academic literature and provide a theoretical foundation for the development of policies and business strategies in practice.
