Kadın Voleybolcuların Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı ile Öz-Yeterlik Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Amaç: Bu araştırmada kadın voleybolcuların toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ile öz yeterlik düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Yöntem: Çalışma grubunu, 2023-2024 Türkiye Voleybol Sezonu’nda TVF bünyesinde yer alan takımlarda aktif oynayan 249 kadın voleybolcu oluşturmaktadır. Verileri toplamak amacıyla; Altınova ve Duyan (2013) tarafından geliştirilen Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği ile Koçak (2020) tarafından geliştirilen Sporcu Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışma verileri SPSS 24.00 paket programı kullanılarak test edilmiştir. One Way ANOVA testinden faydalanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan kadın voleybolcuların öz yeterlik düzeylerinde yaş ve deneyim yılı değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılıklar gözlemlenmiştir (p<0,05). Yaşlı voleybolcuların öz yeterliklerinin daha yüksek olduğu ve deneyimli voleybolcuların daha yüksek öz yeterlik düzeylerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kadın voleybolcuların toplumsal cinsiyet algısı düzeylerinde yaş, eğitim durumu ve deneyim yılı değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılaşma tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Genç voleybolcuların toplumsal cinsiyet algısının yaşlı voleybolculara göre daha yükse olduğu, lise mezunu voleybolcuların üniversite ve lisansüstü mezun olan voleybolculara göre daha yüksek toplumsal cinsiyet algısı düzeylerinin olduğu, deneyim arttıkça toplumsal cinsiyet algısı düzeyinin de arttığı belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: Kadın voleybolcuların toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ile öz yeterlik düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca yaş, eğitim durumu ve deneyim yılı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir.

Examining the Gender Perception and Self-Efficacy Levels of Female Volleyball Players

Öz

Purpose: This study aims to examine the gender perception and self-efficacy levels of female volleyball players.
Method: The study group consists of 249 female volleyball players who actively play in the teams under the TVF in the 2023-2024 Turkish Volleyball Season. In order to collect data; The Gender Perception Scale developed by Altınova and Duyan (2013) and the Athlete Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Koçak (2020) were used. The study data were tested using the SPSS 24.00 package program. One Way ANOVA test was used.
Findings: Significant differences were observed in the self-efficacy levels of female volleyball players participating in the study according to the age and experience year variables (p<0.05). It was determined that older volleyball players had higher self-efficacy and experienced volleyball players had higher self-efficacy levels. A significant difference was found in the gender perception levels of female volleyball players according to the variables of age, education level and years of experience (p<0.05). It was determined that the gender perception of young volleyball players was higher than that of older volleyball players, that high school graduates had higher gender perception levels than university and postgraduate graduates, and that the gender perception level increased as experience increased.
Conclusion: It was determined that the gender perception and self-efficacy levels of female volleyball players were high. In addition, significant differences were found according to the variables of age, education level and years of experience.
