Digital transformation is a process that generates significant value for organizations by integrating digital technologies with effective business strategies Digital transformation has become a necessity for companies in today's competitive business environment.This study aims to present a broad perspective on academic research in the area of digital transformation. A bibliometric analysis of 5706 articles, selected from the Web of Science (WoS) database, spanning the years 2015 to 2023, was conducted. Tools such as Biblioshiny and VOSviewer were utilized for data processing and visualization of the results. The graphical analyses present co-authorship relationships, keyword co-occurrences, growth in research topics, and the network of prominent scholars in the field of digital transformation. The study includes publications from 1816 different sources with a total of 16,306 authors, of which 605 are single-authored. An increase in publications has been observed since 2017, peaking in 2021, attributed to the digitalization processes closely linked with the COVID-19 pandemic. The study reveals that China is the leading country in terms of publications, while Germany ranks highest for citations. Most of the articles are in the fields of management (1104), business (790), and computer science (499), highlighting the multidisciplinary nature of the topic.
