COVID-19, which emerged in 2019 and spread rapidly worldwide, affected all individuals socially and emotionally. It is thought that children in the age of rapid development who are more open to environmental effects are more affected by this situation. It is essential to determine the views and perceptions of children regarding this process. Therefore, this study examines how children make sense of COVID-19 and the quarantine process. The study group consists of 100 children between the ages of 5 and 6 living in Gaziantep, Turkey. It was carried out in the phenomenological method, one of the qualitative research methods. In the research, data were collected through interviews and document analysis. Children's drawings and interviews with them were analyzed through content analysis. The findings obtained from the study revealed that children's drawings and views were similar; children perceived COVID-19 as unfavorable and had negative emotions. It was seen that they reflected their views and feelings about their family relations, emotional states, and how they spent the quarantine process during the quarantine process.
